- 1 box pasta of choice
- 1 cup packed basil leaves
- 3-5 Tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- ¼ cup nutritional yeast
- 3 cloves garlic
- 2 teaspoons spirulina
- Pinch of salt
- 1 cup macadamia nuts, or nut of choice
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Cool and set aside.
- Place all Pesto ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend until well combined.
- Toss Pesto with cooked pasta. Serve and enjoy!
