Your Guide to a Vegan Holiday Charcuterie Board

With the holidays approaching, it has me reminiscing on past gatherings and traditions. While this year’s holidays may look a bit different, it doesn’t mean we have to forgo every detail that makes these times so special to us. Because the holiday season is such a busy time for everyone, it can leave us feeling unprepared on what to serve our closest friends and family at our celebrations. For me, a Holiday Charcuterie Board is the perfect platter to bring everyone together.

What is a charcuterie board? Technically, a charcuterie board is curated with various meats, cheeses, dried fruits, vegetables, nuts and crackers.

But wait, aren’t you vegan?

Yes! Many years ago, when I transitioned to a vegan diet, I wasn’t aware of how much meat and cheese alternatives there were to offer. I thought I had had the last of our family’s infamous Holiday Charcuterie Board.

Charcuterie boards are fun to create and can be as visually appealing as you’d like, making it the perfect dish to snap a pic and post to all your social media platforms. For me, designing a charcuterie board is therapeutic and a way to use my creativity. Not to mention, you get to eat your edible art afterwards!

Luckily, Down to Earth carries the perfect products to fill your board this holiday season.
